When Dr. Voddie Baucham began serving in Zambia, he carried a conviction with him: the greatest need in Africa was not food or medicine — it was the Word of God. That calling shaped everything he and his coworkers do. That’s why your giving to share Bibles is so powerful and central to the spread of the Gospel around the world. That conviction is bearing fruit today. Because of your generosity, people across Zambia are now holding their own Legacy Standard Bibles for the first time.

Chipo Makupe, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academics at ACU, has seen it firsthand. She gathered responses from those who received Legacy Standard Bibles — and what she found, in her own words, was something “indescribable and soul-uplifting”: the joy of God’s Word arriving in hands that had longed for it. Their words tell the story. One student says the Bible has helped him “grow in my walk with Christ, deepen my knowledge of Scripture, and serve God’s people more effectively.” He adds: “Truly, this gift has meant so much to me that words fail me to express my gratitude.” Another student puts it this way: having God’s Word “is enabling an individual to know God’s will and heart for their lives, family and creation as a whole.” These are not just Bible recipients — they are future pastors, teachers, and church leaders. The Bibles you provided are already shaping how they will preach and shepherd for years to come. There are still hands waiting. Your continued giving can put God’s Word into every one of them.
